Guilford County - The Guilford County Board of Education approved the following policies after a 30-day public input period.

Policy 4044/5001/7210 Superintendent Advisory Councils reflects the superintendent’s authority to engage advisory councils.

Policy 7300 Employee Responsibilities and Code of Ethics reflects recent legal changes and clarifies employees' responsibilities.
-
Policy 7730 Employee Conflict of Interest aligns with the North Carolina School Boards Association Model and provides greater clarity regarding conflicts of interest in service to Guilford County Schools.
The board also repealed the following policies because their content was merged with the updated policies.
